I was born in the United States and received my BFA degree from the University of Michigan. Having worked in various design studios in the USA and Switzerland, I feel equally at home in both locations. In 1997 I founded Taylormade GmbH.
Understanding a culture, whether it be a business or a country, is vital for the creation of a successful design. I have always had a keen interest in exploring new perspectives. Through the process of design, I have the opportunity to renew my visual language skills. The combination of logic and human expression often produces results which are surprising. And, once something takes form, we're all confronted with its validity. This is the fascinating aspect of design.
I am also pleased to be a participant in SGD (Swiss Graphic Design society), whose members share similar passions.
